Your suggestion of sorting items in descending order by quality is interesting. I think retailers can and should get more creative with sort options. Few suggestions-

1. Sort by discount %
2. Sort by most reordered items
3. Sort by top first-time purchases
4. Sort by 2009 top sellers
5. Sort by top gift purchases
6. Sort by limited time features

These can be expanded/modified by the retailer.

My friend and I were recently talking about how technology has become so integrated in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
